The gospel is good news and was designed to advance and impact the world. Another term is ‘the great commission’. (Matthew 28:16-20).
When the prophet Nehemiah travelled to Jerusalem, he inspected the walls and determined what required fixing, what needed just some TLC, or what needed complete rebuilding. During this time he discovered those who were for him, and those who had their own agendas. All of this was due to planning, preparation and research.

When Moses sent twelve leaders to spy out the land of Canaan, Joshua and Caleb came back with a positive report. Not ignoring the challenges, but instead recognising the opportunities. Unfortunately, the remaining ten brought back a negative report.

Danny serves as a researcher for churches or circuits that desire to make an impact upon a new region, town or city. Before diving in, there’s a research structure put in place to pray, hear from the Lord, look into what has been done before, look into the relationship and ministries of other churches, looking into the challenges, and opportunities. Then there’s the funding, the labourers, the volunteers, the venue etc.
